TAYLOR
Andrew F. Taylor, 77, died July 13 at his Goldendale
home.
Born in November 16, 1910 at Toledo, Wash. to John and
Nellie Taylor, the family moved to High Prairie in 1918 where he attended
schools.
Mr. Taylor married Hazel Mattson in Yakima on Feb. 24,
1934. While living in Lyle, he worked for the Klickitat County road department
before moving to Goldendale in 1950 to become a County Shop foreman.
Following his retirement from the shop in 1976, the couple
in 1980 moved to Moses Lake. They returned to Goldendale in 1986.
The outdoors, hunting and fishing intrigued Mr. Taylor.
He is survived by Hazel, his wife of 54 years, of Goldendale;
two daughters: Joan Card of Moses Lake and Andrea Niva of Goldendale; three
brothers, Robert Taylor of Spokane, Ben Taylor of High Prairie and Victor
Taylor of Sweet Home, Ore.; six grandchildren: Debi and Carl Adamson of Moses
Lake, James Adamson of Harve, Mont., Darcey Torres of Camp Pendleton, Calif.,
Tammy Bailey of Portland and Lars Jensen of Goldendale. Six great-grand children,
six step-grand-children, seven step-great-grand-children and numerous nieces
and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held July 15 at the New Life Assembly
of God Church and were officiated by Pastor Dennis Huenfeld. Interment was
in the Centerville Cemetery under the direction of Knosher-Erdman Funeral
Home. Pallbearers were Doug Taylor, John Taylor, Martin Taylor, Warren Mattson,
David Mattson and Gary Morris.
