MATRON BURIED MONDAY AT GLENWOOD

     Anna Frances Hansen was born July 9, 1884 at Glenwood, Washington to Henry and Fredricka Troh.
     Mrs. Hansen had lived for the last four years at Boring, Oregon. Prior to this, she had lived at Glenwood where she was married to Henry Hansen on October 21, 1904. He preceded her in death June 6, 1954.
     She passed away February 27th at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, Oregon at the age of 74 years.
     She was a member of the Camas Prairie Pioneer Association and Grange No. 94 of Glenwood.
     Surviving her is a son, Henry A. Hansen of Laurel, Washington; a sister, Erma Ross of McMinnville, Oregon; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were held Monday, March 3rd, at 1:00 p.m. at Gardner's Chapel in White Salmon. Interment was at the Mt. Adams Cemetery at Glenwood, Washington. Rev. Mr. Donald Kaelin of the White Salmon Methodist Church officiated.

ANNA HANSEN

     Anna Frances Hansen, of Boring, died at the age of 85 in Portland Feb. 27. She had the distinction of being a 71-year Grange member, joining the Glenwood Grange and continuing her membership in the Pleasant Valley Grange.
     Born in Glenwood, Wash. to pioneer parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Troh, she was married to Henry Hansen in 1904.      In this pioneer community on Glenwood she operated a hotel and grocery store. She served as nurse, doctor, or mid-wife, and also helped in town organizations and school activities. She was the oldest living pioneer when she left to make her home with her niece, Mrs. Gladys Darling, near Boring.
     Her survivors include a son, Henry, of Glenwood; a sister, Irma Ross, of McMinnville; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a several nieces and nephews.
     Services for Mrs. Hansen were at White Salmon Monday, March 3 with interment at the Mt. Adams Pioneer Cemetery, Glenwood.
