MRS. ALICE PECK PASSES ON
Alice Jane Menninway was born in Astubula County, Ohio,
September 11th, 1848. She married Phinias Sheridan Peck January 1st, 1866.
To this union four children were born one dying in infancy. The others Emma
Jane Larive, of Roscommon, Michigan; Frederick Sheridan, of Spokane, Wash.,
and Elwood Maxwell, of White Salmon.
Mr. and Mrs. Peck lived in Roscommon, Mich. until 1900,
when they came to White Salmon, Wash. where they resided until death called
Mr. Peck April 29th, 1918. Since that time Mrs. Peck has made her home with
her sons and daughter. She was a noble wife, loving mother and esteemed friend
and neighbor.
Those left to mourn her loss are Mrs. Emma Larive, of
Roscommon, Mich.; Mr. Frederick Peck of Spokane, Wash.; Mr. Elwood Peck,
of White Salmon, fourteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host
of loving friends and a true neighbors.

We wish to extend our many thanks to the many kind friends and neighbors who were so thoughtful and who assisted us during the illness and death of our beloved mother.
