AMANDA PETERSON
Former Trout Lake resident Amanda J. Peterson died Friday
in Medford, Ore., at the age of 80.
Mrs. Peterson was born Feb. 12, 1898, in Bellingham to
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Berg. After living for many years in Trout Lake she moved
to Medford in 1970. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three children, Mildred P. Farmer,
Medford, Evelyn Hanna, Syracuse, N.Y., and Arlene Belt, White Salmon; one
brother, Alfred Berg, Portland, and nine grandchildren.
Rev. James McGuin conducted a memorial service for Mrs.
Peterson at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon. Burial
was in the Trout Lake Cemetery.
