DEATH TAKES MISS J. TOBIN
Appendicitis Operation Is Fatal to Well Known Klickitat Young Lady
Miss June Tobin, 20, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Tobin of Klickitat died Tuesday morning at 12:05 following an emergency operation
for acute appendicitis.
Miss Tobin was well known in the Klickitat valley, having
graduated from the Centerville high school in 1932 and would have completed
her courses in The Dalles in June of this year.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday)
at 2 o'clock from the Chapman chapel with interment in Centerville.
Besides her parents, the deceased leaves two brothers,
Lyle and John, and one sister, Jean, and a host of friends throughout the
entire county and in The Dalles where she was attending the nurses' training
school.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MISS TOBIN
Funeral services for Mrs. June Tobin, 21 years of age,
who died early Tuesday morning last week at The Dalles hospital from
complications following an appendicitis operation, were held last Thursday
afternoon from the Chapman Chapel in Goldendale, with interment following
in the Centerville Grange cemetery.
The deceased is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Tobin, of Klickitat, Wash., former Centerville residents, having graduated
from the Centerville high school in 1932. She has been in nurses training
atTthe Dalles hospital during the past two and a half years, and was to have
graduated from that institution in June this year. Besides her parents she
leaves to survive, two brothers, Lyle and John, and one sister, Jean, all
of Klickitat, Wash.

JUNE TOBIN
June Tobin, eldest daughter of John R. and Goldie Tobin,
was born at Centerville, Wash., June 23, 1915. In November, 1924 she moved
to Klickitat, Wash. Here she grew to young womanhood, completed her grade
school work and three years of high school. In the fall of 1932 she entered
the Centerville High School to complete her work, graduating with the class
of 1933. In October, having decided upon her life's work, she entered The
Dalles Hospital of Training for Nurses, and would have graduated this year
in October. She was a member of Amber Circle 156, Centerville, Wash.
She passed to the Beyond at The Dalles, Oregon, February
13, 1936, at the age of 20 years, 7 months and 26 days, leaving to mourn
her decease besides her parents, two brothers, Lyle and Jack Tobin, and one
sister, Jean Tobin, all of Klickitat, Wash., and a host of other relatives
and friends.
Funeral services were held from the Chapman Chapel,
Goldendale, Wash., February 20, 1936, with interment in the Centerville Cemetery.
Rev. S.C. Eshelman officiated. Over 300 friends and relatives attended the
last rites, expressing their sympathy with many beautiful floral tributes.

MISS JUNE TOBIN
Miss June Tobin, 20, student nurse at The Dalles hospital,
died at midnight Tuesday following an operation she underwent several days
ago.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 20, from
the Chapman chapel with interment in Centerville.
Besides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Tobin, of Klickitat,
Wash., the deceased leaves two brothers, Lyle and John, and one sister, Jean,
and many friends throughout the entire county and in The Dalles, where she
was attending the nurses' training school.
