AGNES LAURA GREEN
Agnes Laura Green was born May 15, 1884 and passed away
Friday, March 2, 1951 at 11:30 p.m.
The deceased, the daughter of Henry and Alice Upton,
was born at Hixton, Wis., and was one of seven children. The boys were, Johnnie,
George, and Willie. The girls, Mary, Mrs. Gus Casper; Sarah, Mrs. Sarah Goldsmith
and Margaret, Mrs. Antone Iverson. All proceed her in death except Willie
and George, who are living in Hixton, Wis.
She grew to womanhood in Wisconsin. On January 3, 1903,
she was united in marriage to Frank O. Green. In 1935 they moved to Naches,
Washington, until 1936 when they moved to Coos Bay, Oregon, where they resided
until 1945, when they moved to Appleton, where she made her home until her
death. Mr. Green passed away December 1, 1947.
Seven children were born to this union. They are, Benjamin Henry,
Ray Donavon and Archie Lynn, all of Coos Bay, Oregon; Virgil Duane Green
and a foster son, George Hartwig of Appleton. Mrs. E.A. Burrier of Langlley.
Two daughter preceded her in death. They are Mrs. Loyal Flick and Mrs. R.C.
Zinn. Twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
She was always a loving mother, a good neighbor and always
ready to lend a helping hand to a person in need.
Her motto, written in the family Bible was: "Even as
you do unto one of the least of his, so will he do unto you. Live according
to this, my children, and you will live right." signed Ma.
Mrs. Green was a member of the Appleton Booster Club
and went to Sunday services at the Appleton school house.

Mrs. Green had 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
