ALBERT LAWRENCE SUTHERLIN
Albert Lawrence Sutherlin passed away Nov. 27, 1928.
He was born October 18, 1872 in Concordia, Kan. and was married Nov. 30,
1898 to Alma A. Fundenberger in Crowley, Louisiana. The early part of his
life was spent in Kansas, later in Louisiana and Montana. He came to White
Salmon three years ago.
Mr. Sutherlin was a member of the Baptist church in Crowley,
La. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, and seven children, namely,
Mrs. J. V. Newel, of Como, Mont.; Mrs. C. J. Vance, of Grantsdale, Mont,
Glen A. Sutherlin, Stevensville, Mont.; Mrs. Ethel Christopherson, Redondo
Beach, Calif., Earl F. Sutherlin, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Vern E. and Calvin
J. of White Salmon. Two sisters, Mrs. J.H. Hendrix of Wishita, Kansas and
Mrs. Frank Carpenter of Orange, Calif. Two uncles, Jay and George Beldin,
of La Grande, Oregon.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church
on Friday, Nov. 30 with Rev. W. T. Beatty officiating. Internment was made
in the White Salmon cemetery.
