ANNIE L. WOOSLEY
Annie Lauretta Woosley, 94, died June 21 at the Hood
River Memorial Hospital.
Born in Emerald, Neb., in 1892, Mrs. Woosley moved to
the Northwest as a young girl and attended schools in Corvallis, Ore.
She came to White Salmon in 1913 and was an area resident
until moving to California in 1950. She moved back to the area in 1981, residing
in Hood River.
She married James B. Woosley in Chehalis, Wash., in 1909.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters and a son.
Mrs. Woosley was survived by three sons, James E. Woosley
of Cook, Wash., George R. Woosley of Fiddletown, Calif., and William D. Woosley
of Hood River. Mrs. Woosley was also survived by two brothers, Edward T.
Miller of Spokane, Wash., and George D. Miller of Gresham, Ore.
She has 13 grandchildren and numerous great, and great-great
grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Anderson Funeral
Home in Hood River. Rev. Jack Naff of the Valley Christian Church will officiate.
