"Glenwood"

     We had the loss of another pioneer, when Mrs. Markgraf passed away about 6 o'clock Wednesday evening, at the home of her son, William, she having arrived from White Salmon the Saturday night before. Mrs. Markgraf was 76 years of age, and leaves to mourn her loss her husband, one daughter and 5 sons; also a host of grandchildren. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, and she was laid at rest in the Mt. Adams Glenwood Grange cemetery.
