RITES HELD HERE FOR ANN MARY CAHILL
Death claimed Anna Mary Cahill Saturday, December 31,
at Klickitat Valley Hospital; she was 80 years of age.
Anna Mary Kuhn was born March 1, 1880, in Louisville,
Ohio, and moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kuhn to the eastern part
of Klickitat County, at Six-Prong, in 1883. She was married to Edward T.
Cahill in 1902, and nine children were born to the union. She was preceded
in death by her husband, after 57 years of marriage, and two sons, Emmett
and Edward.
Survivors include seven children: John Cahill, Rice;
Clara Cahill of Spokane; James Cahill of Wenatchee; Catherine Stewart of
Yakima; Ethel Kayser, Martin Cahill and Bob Cahill of Goldendale; one brother,
James Kuhn of Portland; and two sisters, the Matilda Hendricks of The Dalles,
and Sister Alexis of St. Louis, Mo.
Services were conducted at Holy Trinity Catholic Church
at 11 a.m. January 4 by the Rev. Fr. S.P. Duffy. Interment in the Catholic
Cemetery followed. Pallbearers were Hugh Cameron, Joseph Hassing, Joe Kilkelly,
William, John and Fred Hoctor.
