ANNIE MARY CHUBB
Annie Mary Weingartner was born August 16, 1880 in Sar
Guans, Switzerland, and passed away at home, October 1, 1942, at Husum.
Leaving Switzerland for America when she was 9 months
old, her parents moved to Aurora, Illinois, then to in 1890 to Portland.
In 1891 they moved to Husum where Annie spent her girlhood.
May 3, 1904 she married Roy G. Chubb and to this union
seven children were born; Juanita, age three years and Harry, age 6 months
died in infancy.
The family moved to Canby, Oregon in 1912, returning
to Husum in 1931. She was baptized into the Nazarene Church at Canby, Oregon
in 1915.
Annie was a great lover of flowers and spent many happy
hours among them. She was an ideal wife and mother and led a kindly helpful
life in the community where is dearly loved by her many friends and relatives.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Roy G. Chubb, Husum,
Washington; three daughters, Frances Morgan, Willamette, Oregon; Meta Schatz,
Canby, Oregon; and Agnes Chubb, Sheridan, Oregon; two sons, Archie, of Canby,
Oregon and Herbert, of Husum. Four grandchildren and one great grandchild;
one brother, John Weingartner, of Husum, and a half brother, Arnold Anrig,
of Husum and a host of friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 o'clock in the
Trout Lake church with burial in the Trout Lake cemetery.

Husum, Wash,; three daughters, Frances Morgan, Willamette, Ore.; Meta Schatz,
Canby, Ore., and Agnes Chubb, Sheridan, Ore., two sons, Archie of Canby,
Ore. and Herbert of Husum. Also four grandchildren and one great grandchild,
and one brother, John Weingartner, and a half-brother, Arnold Anrig, both
of Husum, besides a host of friends and neighbors.
