MRS. H.L. LEWIS
The remains of Mrs. H.L. Lewis, of Salem, Oregon, were laid to rest in the Spring Creek cemetery Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock. She formerly lived with her family in the Blockhouse section, the property now being owned by Lou Duncan, of The Dalles. Her husband died several years ago and was buried in the same cemetery. The family moved to Salem in 1905, where they have since resided. Mrs. Shurtz is a daughter, and she with her husband and other relatives, came for the burial.

LEWIS
At the residence, 1599 State street, Mrs. A.M. Lewis, December 21. Survived by the following children: J.H. Lewis of Lewiston, O.W. Lewis of Salem, Mrs. Ada Fox of San Francisco, I.D. Lewis of Yakima, Wash., Ina L. Schurtz of Salem, Jessie Wintermute of Lyons, George Lewis of Salem, Minor Lewis of Salem. She was the sister of Joe Harris of Eagle, Colo., Mrs. Cora Adams of Gardner City, S.D., R.S. Harris of Hollanddale, Minn., Charles Harris of Shadwick, Ill., Mrs. Nettie Fickes of Mt. Carl, Ill. Eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held from the W.T. Rigdon company chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 23. Dr. J.E. Milligan will officiate. Interment Goldendale, Wash.

"Obituary Note"
MRS. ANNA M. LEWIS
Mrs. Anna M. Lewis, age 76 years, died at the home of
her son in Salem. Funeral services were conducted in Salem, Ore. and burial
was in Spring Creek cemetery northwest of Goldendale Tuesday, Dec. 24, 1935.
Mrs. Lewis with a former resident of Klickitat county,
the Lewis place being on Spring Creek. She moved to Salem in 1904 after the
death of her husband, where two sons live.
