The funeral of little Audrey Murray was held December 13th. at the church, Rev. G. Good, of Trout Lake, having charge of the services. She was the five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Murray. The cause of her death was burns she received while she and her small sister were playing. They found a match and struck it setting her clothes on fire. Their mother who was out of the house a very short time, heard the children scream and rushing in found Audrey all ablaze. Help was summoned and she was taken to the Hood River hospital where all was done that could be done for the suffering child, but to no avail and she passed away at 7:30 o'clock the following day. The Anderson Undertaking Home brought the body to Glenwood and conducted the service. The entire community extend their sincere sympathy to the bereaved parents.
