IN MEMORY
Died, April 14, 1919, at the home of her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Zachary Niemela, Alice Mabel Niemela, aged 7 years, 6 months and
4 days. Little Alice was a very lovable little daughter, and, although a
constant sufferer most of her short life, was never heard to complain, and
the past two months being almost helpless, she had often expressed a wish
that as she could not get well, she might die. But oh how sadly she will
be missed by those who loved her so dearly and caring for her so tenderly.
Little Alice leaves a devoted father, mother, sister
and brother, besides relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
Dear parents, little Alice is not dead, but gone on before,
and is awaiting her dear ones to calm. So, dear parents, look up and submit,
for it is a loving hand that has taken your dear one; and so live that when
the time comes you may meet Alice in her home above.
The funeral was held Wednesday, with short services at
the house and the Finnish Lutheran Church in Centerville, by Mr. Bassi. Interment
was in the Centerville Cemetery.
Mrs. J. E. Strahl.
