Mrs. Anna Rauscher, twenty-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Rauscher, died of influenza at her home near Goldendale on Sunday afternoon, December 22. The funeral was held this morning from the undertaking parlors, only a few of the immediate friends and relatives being present. Five of the children contacted the influenza, all recovering except Mrs. Anna. Obituary will follow later.

ANNA RAUSCHER
The death of Anna Rauscher occurred Sunday evening, December 22, resulting of an attack of influenza. Deceased had been ill for a short time on the home place near Goldendale. She was born August 14, 1897, at Parkston, S.D. She came to Oregon with her parents at twelve years of age, later coming to Goldendale, where the family have resided since. Besides her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Rauscher, there are two sisters, Amelia and Laura, and three brothers, Andy, Joe and Herman, who remain to mourn her untimely death. Her many friends and acquaintances deeply grieve over her sudden death.

The eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Rauscher, who reside east of Goldendale a few miles, died from influenza Sunday. The interment was at the Catholic cemetery. This family has been suffering from the influenza for some time past, but are now on the way to recovery.
