ANNA RITZSCHKE

     Anna Ritzschke, 84, a resident of The Dalles, died Wednesday at a local hospital.
     She was born Aug. 1, 1892.
     Survivors are her husband, William Ritzschke, The Dalles; two daughters, Margaret Jeanette Correa, Echo, Ore., and Iris Neal, The Dalles; a sister, Helen Steinke, The Dalles; a brother, William White, Lyle, Wash.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Knosher Funeral Home in Goldendale.

     Anna M. Ritzschke passed away Nov. 9 at the age of 85.
     She was born Aug. 1, 1892 to William and Martha White in Sherman County, Ore. In April of 1911, she came with her parents to live near Centerville in the home now owned by Tim Hanson.
     While here, she met William H. Ritzschke. They married 63 years ago on Dec. 7, 1914 in The Dalles.
     For 61 years, they lived on their farm south of Centerville. For 44 years, she was a member of Centerville Grange, working a variety of areas.
     She was a charter member of the pioneers' association. She attended every association meeting, except this year when ill health prevented her. She was especially interested in raising flowers, sewing and caring for her daughters, Iris and Margaret.
     Survivors include husband Will, The Dalles; daughter Iris Neal, The Dalles and Margaret Jeanette Correa, Echo, Ore.; sister Helen Steinke, The Dalles; brother William White, Lyle; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
     Funeral services were held Nov. 12 at the Knosher Funeral Home with Eldon Wiidanen officiating. Pallbearers were Alvin Randall, Henry Miller, Harold Eshelman, Hugh Cameron, Keith Kayser and William Olson. Interment was in the Centerville Cemetery.
