ANDREW BARNES SERVICES TO BE HELD SATURDAY
Andrew Allen Barnes, resident of White Salmon, Washington,
passed away the evening of September 20 as a result of an accident near Bingen,
Washington.
Mr. Barnes was born May 14, 1943 in Vancouver, Washington.
He was the son of Mabel M. and Andrew A. Barnes. He had
been a resident of Lyle, Washington before moving to White Salmon 3½
years ago.
He had been employed by Bingen Plywood Co. until recently
when he went to work for Chrisman and Dehart Paving Co. in Bingen.
Surviving him are: his wife, Diane Lynn, of White Salmon;
a daughter, Karrie Anne; one brother, Vernon Barnes, of Sandy, Oregon; and
three sisters, Shirley Shelton of Sumner, Washington, Janet Meresse of White
Salmon, Washington, and Mary Barnes of El Paso, Texas.
His father, Andrew, passed away in 1972; his mother,
Mabel Marie Barnes, passed away January, 1973. Funeral services will be held
Saturday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home, White Salmon,
with Rev. Calvin Moore of the United Methodist Church officiating. Interment
will be in Lyle Cemetery, Lyle, Washington.
