BOB BEARDEN PASSES SUNDAY

     Just before noon, Jan. 22 Mary Keys and daughters Ellen Hendryx and Bertha Haman were called to Portland by the death of Bob Bearden. Mr. Bearden had not been ill but upon rising that morning was struck by a sharp pain in his chest. Aid was summoned right away but could not help. Mrs. Haman stayed with her sister until the funeral which was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Portland.
     Mr. Bearden is survived by his wife, Minnie Hoke Bearden, 7324 NE 29th St., Zone 11, Portland; a stepdaughter who lives in Portland; a sister who lives in the midwest and arrived by plane early Monday morning, and two brothers who live in Seattle.
