LONG ILLNESS ENDS IN DEATH OF MRS. CHAS. YEACKEL
Last rites for Mrs. Charles Yeackel, who passed away
last Saturday morning, June 7, in The Dalles hospital, were held Tuesday
afternoon at the Phillips funeral home, conducted by Rev. Walter G. Smith,
of the Goldendale Baptist church.
Interment was in the Centerville Grange in Cemetery.
She was a member of the Lutheran church at Centerville.
Mrs. Yeackel was born in Centerville September 20, 1880,
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kaidera, and was married June 27, 1900,
three children being born to this union. A son of died in infancy but two
daughters, Mrs. Paul Davenport and Mrs. Mark Kayser, both residents of the
county, survive her, as well as the husbands, ten grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren, two brothers, and five sisters.
