OBITUARY

     Andrew Wiidanen passed away at his home in Centerville, Jan. 12, 1925, at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 22 days. He had been ailing for three years.
     Mr. Wiidanen, a pioneer resident of Klickitat county, was born in Finland June 20, 1845. In 1873 he came to Michigan, where he was united in marriage to Amanda Holm. To this union 12 children were born. In 1871 they moved to Klickitat county, where he engaged in farming until about ten years ago, when he retired.
     He is survived by his wife and seven children: Charles, Peter and Matthew, of Centerville; Mrs. Avon Kaiser, of Centerville; Mrs. Frank Barney, of Seattle; Mrs. Melvin Fielding and Mrs. Charles Bayman, of Portland; also two brothers, nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
     The decedent was an active member of the Lutheran church since his boyhood.
     Funeral services were held from the Finnish Lutheran Church in Centerville Jan. 15, followed by interment in the Centerville cemetery.

"Local Happenings"

     Andrew Wiidanen, a respected citizen of the Centerville vicinity for many years, died at his home in Centerville Monday night. Mr. Wiidanen was 79 years of age. Funeral services were held today at 12:45 o'clock p.m., from the Finnish Lutheran church in Centerville, Wilhelm Basi officiating. Interment was made in the Centerville cemetery.
