Audrey O. Hylton, 81, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002,
in Vancouver.
Born Dec. 11, 1920, in Fallbridge, Mrs. Hylton lived
in Crescent City, Calif., and Lyle before moving to Vancouver in 1994. She
was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, knitting and going
for walks.
Her husband of 55 years, Stanley, died in 1990.
Survivors include one daughter, Kay Parks of Vancouver;
five sons, Jerry of Scappoose, Ore., Craig of Lyle, Bruce of Toledo, Dwaine
of Centralia and Jonas of Shelton; and one sister, Joyce Hutchins of Lyle.
A service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant
Hill Cemetery in Appleton. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of
arrangements.

Audrey O. Hylton, a former Lyle resident, died Sept.
26, 2002, in Vancouver, at the age of 81.
Mrs. Hylton was born Dec. 11, 1920, in Fallbridge. She
lived in Cresent City, Calif., until the age of 13. She then moved to Lyle,
where she lived until 1994. She moved to Vancouver in 1994.
She married Stanley Hylton in 1935. He preceded her in
death in 1990.
Mrs. Hylton loved to cook and go for walks. She was a
great cook (her pumpkin pie was made of carrots) and did lots of canning.
She also enjoyed many crafts, especially sewing and knitting.
She is survived by daughter Kay Parks, Vancouver; sons
Jerry Hylton, Scappoose, Ore., Craig Hylton, Lyle, Bruce Hylton, Toledo,
Dwaine Hylton, Centralia, and Jonas Hylton, Shelton; and sister Joyce Hutchins,
Lyle.
Services for Mrs. Hylton were held Saturday, Oct. 5,
2002, at 1:30 p.m. at the church memorial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in
Appleton.

Korthase. Audrey lived in Crescent City, Calif. until she was 13 years of
age. She moved to Lyle, where she lived until 1994, when she moved to Vancouver.
Audrey married Stanley Hylton in 1935.
She loved to cook and go for walks. Audrey was a great
cook and did a lot of canning. She also enjoyed many crafts, especially sewing

by Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver.
