ADA SCHMUTZER SERVICE HELD AT GARDNER'S
Ada Pearl Schmutzer passed away at Klickitat Valley Hospital
in Goldendale, Washington, Dec. 12, 1970. She was born in July 22, 1898 in
Kay County Oklahoma to William and Lydia Probosco.
She moved to Nebraska on April 28, 1916 and from there
to Oregon City, Oregon in 1926. In 1933 the family moved to Trout Lake,
Washington and lived there until 1940 when they moved to Klickitat, Washington.
Her husband, Herman F. Schmutzer, preceded her in death
November 2, 1960.
Since 1963 she resided at Hy Lond Convalescent Center,
Goldendale, Washington.
Surviving her are three sons: Herman F. Schmutzer of
Milwaukee, Oregon; Henry L. Schmutzer of Fontana, California; Walter L. Schmutzer
of Whittier, California. Two brothers: Henry Probosco of Lincoln City, Oregon;
Morgan C. Probosco of Fountain, Florida. Three sisters: Mary Edna and Edna
and Nettie King of Independence, Oregon. Also 6 grandchildren and 2 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1970 at
1:30 p.m. in Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, Washington. Interment
was in the White Salmon Cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Hugo Larson of Klickitat
officiated at the services.
