ALBIN BERGLUND
Albin Bergland, a resident of Entiat and thought to be
in his 60s, died Jan. 31 at Central Washington Hospital from a tumor in his
lung.
He was a good person to have as a neighbor, said those
who knew him.
He took an active interest in his community newspaper,
the Entiat Valley Explorer, and he enjoyed called the "Entiat Ear," former
columnist Sher Murray, about troubles with his cars.
His nickname was "Skee" for playing a little skeezer
as a kid in a play at one time, said his brother.
He is survived by a brother, Don, of Seattle, and an
uncle and aunt, Mel and Gertrude Berglund of White Salmon,
Washington.
An official report of his death did not reach the Explorer
until a short time ago.
