PROMINENT LYLE MAN VICTIM OF HEART ATTACK

     Funeral services will be held at Lyle Thursday afternoon for A.R. McNeil, prominent Western Klickitat business man and resident of Lyle for the past 20 years.
     Mr. McNeil died Monday evening at The Dalles hospital following a heart attack. He had been in poor health for the past several months. Mr. McNeil, who was the proprietor of a motor freight company with headquarters at Lyle, is survived by the widow and one son, Walter, of Lyle.

ANDREW RUSSELL MCNEIL

     Funeral services were held at Lyle, Thursday, June 22, 1939 at 2 p.m. for Andrew Russell McNeil who died at The Dalles hospital June 19.
     He was married in Lind, Washington on June 1, 1905. He moved to Lyle and for the last 16 years has been a member of the Columbia Grange there. He had engaged in the trucking business for the past 10 years. He was born in West Virginia on Feb. 28, 1876.
     The Rev. Louis White, of Hood River, officiated at the services. Interment was in the Balch cemetery.
     Andrew Russell McNeil is survived by a son, Walter, of Lyle. Gardner Funeral Service, of White Salmon, was in charge of arrangements.

"Lyle Events"

     Word was received here that Mr. A.R. McNeal, who has been seriously ill in The Dalles hospital for a week, had passed away Monday night. The sympathy of all goes out to the family in this time of sorrow. The funeral was held here Wednesday afternoon.

ANDREW RUSSELL PASSES AWAY AT LYLE

     Andrew Russell McNeil, aged 63, of Lyle, died at The Dalles hospital last week. Funeral services were held at Lyle gymnasium with interment at the Balch cemetery at Lyle. He is survived by his widow, Lottie, and son, Walter, of Lyle. During recent years Mr. McNeil had been prominent in the trucking business hereabouts.
