FUNERAL FOR MRS. ARMADALE MOORE HELD MONDAY AUG. 27 IN WHITE SALMON
Mrs. Armadale Moore was born October 4, 1873 in Knights
Valley, California, the daughter of George and Rebecca Williams.
In 1882 she was united in marriage to Charles B. Stevens
at The Dalles and to this union were born three children -- Frank Stevens
who now resides in Portland, Verna Randall of White Salmon, and George Stevens
who passed away December 1, 1938.
In 1928 she married Stephen Monroe Moore who passed away
May 27, 1929.
Mrs. Moore was a member of the Baptist church and attended
the Congregational church and Guild in White Salmon. For several years Mrs.
Moore operated a small grocery store near the White Salmon Grade school.
Besides her two surviving children she also leaves two
grandchildren, Jimmy and Leona.
Services were held Monday, August 27th at 3 p.m., Standard
time at Gardner's Funeral Homer with Reverend Hutchinson of Hood River
officiating. Interment was in the White Salmon Odd Fellows cemetery. Pall
bearers were Earl Smith, W.E. Beaver, John Spawn, Earl McCoy, Steve Hill
Sr., Wilbur Dunlap and Louis Thun.
