ANN STEWART RIBAIL INTERRED HERE WED.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 13, in
Yakima, for Mrs. Ann Stewart Ribail, 20, of Seattle. She was buried in Holy
Trinity Cemetery, Goldendale.
Mourners included her brother, Rollen Stewart, Seattle;
a sister-in-law, Mrs. Susan Stewart; uncles Bob Cahill Sr. of Goldendale,
Jim Cahill of Wenatchee, Martin of Dayton; and an aunt, Ethel Kayser, also
of Dayton.
Steven Terry Meyer, 20, Seattle, was charged Tuesday
with first degree murder of Mrs. Ribail last Saturday. Meyer is being held
in the Seattle city jail without bail. He surrendered Saturday to Oregon
State Police in Salem.
Mrs. Ribail was strangled to death in her West Seattle
apartment Saturday morning. Her roommate and sister-in-law, Mrs. Susan Stewart,
22, of Seattle, suffered stab wounds in the throat. Meyer has been charged
with first degree assault upon Mrs. Stewart.
Services for Mrs. Ribail were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday
morning at St. Paul's Cathedral with burial in Goldendale the same day.
Mrs. Ribail was a nurse's aide in Yakima before moving
to Seattle about six months ago. She was born in Spokane and went to school
in Yakima. Her mother, Mrs. Catherine Stewart, died of smoke and heat inhalation
during a fire at her home in Yakima January 10.
