The funeral for Arthur Jones was held in the Trout Lake Presbyterian Church last Saturday at 11 a.m. There was a large crowd out as Arthur had lived in the valley for 72 years and was well known not only in the valley but in surrounding places. His beautiful tenor voice, his knowledge of the surrounding mountains and wild life, his out-standing pictures of the woods and wild life, even the rock work which he had been doing of late brought pleasure to the many friends both here and outside of the valley. He had also, with his wife, been a long worker in the churh. Both of the daughters and their families were here for the funeral and he was buried in the Trout Lake Cemetery.
