ALBERT W. BOOHER
Albert W. Booher of Glenwood died on Saturday Jan. 1;
he was 89.
Mr. Booher was born June 7, 1904 in Glenwood to Nina
(Wellenbrock) and John Henry Booher.
He was raised in Glenwood and later worked for the County
Road Department and for the State fish hatchery for 13 years. Mr. Booher
drove school bus for a number of years and was a farmer in the Glenwood Valley.
He was a past Master of the Glenwood Grange and enjoyed
hunting, fishing and traveling. Mr. Booher was preceded in death by his wife
Thelma, and a son Floyd.
He is survived by his daughters Isoline Sprague Brock
of Glenwood, Ruth Warner of Vancouver, Marie Vaughn of Monterey, Calif.,
and Jackie Templeton of Corvallis, Ore.; and sisters Nettie Burgess of Vancouver,
and Edna Barnes of Granger. Mr. Booher had 14 grandchildren; 37 great
grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
The family suggests that contributions in Mr. Booher's
name be given to the Mt. Adams Cemetery Association in Glenwood.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the
Pioneer Memorial Church in Glenwood.
The Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of all the
arrangements.
