Elsewhere in this paper is an item concerning the death of Aaron W. Bullack. Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 o'clock this fore-noon at the Chapman chapel. Rev. S.C. Eshelman of Centerville, officiating. Interment was made in the Spring Creek cemetery.

"Local Happenings"
Word was received in Goldendale Monday advising of the death of Aaron Bullack, which occurred at his home near Gridley, Calif., Monday morning at 6:40 o'clock. Mr. Bullack had been subject to spells of severe illness at different times, and it was not anticipated he would recover from his last sickness. Mr. Bullack with his family made his home in the vicinity of Goldendale for a number of years before selling out and going to California several years ago, and he was known throughout the Klickitat Valley. Undertaker M.W. Chapman has been advised that the body will be brought here for interment. An obituary will follow.

AARON WADE BULLACK
Aaron Wade Bullack was born in Iowa, January 23rd, 1862,
and came with his parents by ox team to Oregon when 4 years of age, moving
to Goldendale in 1878 where he resided on a farm near here until 1920 when
he and his family moved to Gridley, California where he lived until his death,
which occurred on September 16th, 1929, being 67 years, 7 months and 23 days
of age.
He was married to Otie Hale in 1890, to which union were
born three children, two of whom survive him; Cecil H. passing away in 1915.
He leaves to mourn his departure from this life, his wife and two children,
Alma K. Keen, of Gridley, Cal., and Noel W., of San Francisco, Cal.; one
brother, James of Portland, Oregon, and a sister, Mrs. E.B. Hunter, of
Goldendale, Wash.
Mr. Bullack was a man of sterling worth and a substantial
character in the community and will be greatly missed by all his many friends.
While he has not been a resident of this place for several years, he still
had a deep interest in the affairs of the community where for so many years
he made his home.
Funeral services were held from the Chapman chapel September
19, at 10:30 o'clock, with interment in the Spring Creek Cemetery, Elder
S.C. Eshelman of the Centerville Christian church, officiating.

AARON W. BULLACK
The funeral of the late Aaron W. Bullack, was held from
the Chapman chapel, in Goldendale, on Thursday, September 19, 1929, at 10:30
a.m., Elder S.C. Eshelman, of Centerville, officiating.
Interment was in the Spring Creek cemetery.
Mr. Bullack, a Klickitat pioneer, died at Gridley, Cal.,
the first of the week. He had moved to that section several years ago.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter. Also many
relatives and friends.
