BERNICE N. ACKLEY SERVICES ARE HELD
Bernice N. Ackley of Home Valley died Saturday, April
29 at Skyline Hospital at White Salmon of injuries sustained in an automobile
accident.
She is survived by her husband Jack B. Ackley, four children,
Lila Mae, Nancy Lee, Nadine Yvonne and Jack B. Jr.; her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Max I. Teel of Husum; Ethel Munsey and Pauline Stubbs both of White
Salmon and Maxine Ziger of Castle Rock, Wash.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 2 at Gardner's
Funeral Home in White Salmon with Rev. Alfred Waln officiating. Burial was
in Goodwill Cemetery at White Salmon.
Juanita Gardner sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and
"What A Friend We have in Jesus".
Casket bearers were Ray Chambers, Fred Frazer Jr., Milton
Connelly, Enoch Deckard, John Thomas and Tom Kimbro.

Bernice N. Ackley was born February 22, 1940 in Yacolt,
Washington, to Max and Sadie Teel. She had lived most of her life in the
White Salmon area. Two months ago she had moved to Home Valley with her family.
Following a car accident Friday evening, she passed away at Skyline Hospital
in White Salmon early Saturday Morning, April 29.
She is survived by her husband, Jack B. Ackley and four
children, Lila Mae, Nancy Lee, Nadine Yvonne and Jack B. Jr., all of Home
Valley Washington. Also surviving her are her parents, Max and Sadie Teel,
of Husum, Washington: two brothers, Walter Teel of Stevenson, Washington
and Bob Teel of Husum, Washington; and three sisters, Ethel Muncy of White
Salmon: Pauline Stubbs of White Salmon: Maxine Ziger of Castle Rock, Washington.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 2, 1967 at Gardner's
Chapel in White Salmon at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Mr. Alfred Waln officiating.
Interment was at the White Salmon Cemetery.
