DEATH SUMMONS BERTHA CHESNEY

     Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha C. Chesney, 89, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30 at Gardner's Chapel. The Rev. Homer Coulson officiated. Burial was in Goodwill Cemetery
     Bearers were John and Francis Anderson, Floyd Boyer, John Loeffel and Harvey Kelchner
     Mrs. Chesney was born Jan. 30, 1874 at Mankato, Minnesota and has been a resident of the White Salmon area since 1912. She died at Skyline Hospital on Friday, Dec. 27.
     She was the widow of the Thomas E. Chesney who died on July 14, 1940.
     Mrs. Chesney is survived by two sons, Albert W. Chesney of White Salmon with whom she made her home, and Harold T. Chesney of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
