BENJAMIN TUBBS FUNERAL FRIDAY
Benjamin Tubbs, a former resident of White Salmon died
July 29th in St.. Elizabeth Hospital at Baker, Oregon. Mr. Tubbs was a logger.
He made his home at Baker for the past eight years.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Schuh of Baker,
Ore. and Mrs. Lester Lund of Forest Grove, Ore.; two sons, Arthur Tubbs of
Harrisburg, Pa., and Junior Tubbs of White Salmon; three brothers Elmer,
of Woodland, Wash., Bert, of Prescott, Ariz., and Bill, of Carson; 19
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him in
death.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 1st, at Gardner's
Chapel in White Salmon at two o'clock. The Reverend Eugene Haynes of Bethel
Congregational Church will officiate.
Burial will be in White Salmon Cemetery.
