JUNIOR TUBBS
Junior B. Tubbs, a lifelong Mid-Columbia resident, died
Saturday in The Dalles following a short illness, at the age of 57.
Mr. Tubbs was born May 17, 1927, in Carson, to Mr. and
Mrs. Benjamin Tubbs. He worked as a logger, farmer, diesel mechanic and most
recently at Beaver Creek Meadows in Goldendale.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, Goldendale; children,
Joella Ruiz, California, Chester, Glen and James Tubbs, all of Wishram, Lester
Tubbs and Debra Goss, both of The Dalles, and Sandra Tubbs, Klickitat; two
sisters, Jessie Schuh, Baker, Ore., and Dorothy, Portland, Ore. one brother,
Art Tubbs, Pennsylvania; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Gardner
Funeral Home in White Salmon. Interment is in the White Salmon cemetery.
