BENNETT LEWIS

     Bennett Lewis, of Willard, passed away at his home there, Saturday, August 28, at 11 p.m..
     He was born in Harlan, Kentucky, March 31, 1884, where he was reared. He came to Skamania County nineteen years ago, where he has lived since.
     Survivors are his wife Grace, a daughter, Mrs. David Newman, of Astoria, Oregon, two grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers.
     Funeral services were held at the Gardner Funeral Home, White Salmon Wednesday afternoon, with burial in the Underwood Heights cemetery.
