"Local Happenings"

     Mrs. Reka Wilson, who was injured several weeks ago in an auto accident, died at The Dalles hospital last evening. Merle W. Chapman brought the remains to Goldendale at an early hour this morning. Funeral arrangements have not been made yet.

OBITUARY

     Britta Fredrika Hook, was born on September 18, 1858, at Wadso, Norway, and died at The Dalles, Oregon, December 4, 1930, at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 16 days.
     She came to Calumet, Michigan in 1876, where she was united in marriage to Mike Wilson. To this union were born 12 children, of which 8 are now living, namely, Henry, Arthur, Oscar and William, all living at Centerville, Wash., and Mrs. Anna Harding, Mrs. Lydia Furgason and Mrs. Margritta Gilbert, of Portland, Oregon, and Mrs. Minnie Short, Cliffs, Wash.
     She came to Centerville, Wash., in 1878 from Calumet, Michigan, and has resided here ever since. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her children, 1 brother and 1 sister, both residing at Calumet, Mich., 13 grand children, a host of other relatives and friends.
     May she rest in peace.
     Services were held from the Christian church in Centerville Saturday, Dec. 7th at 1:00 P.M. with Elder S.C. Eshelman officiating. Interment following in the Grange cemetery near Centerville, Wash.

     The funeral of the late Mrs. Reka Wilson was held at the Christian Church Saturday. Services were conducted by Rev. S.C. Eshelman.

"On Grange Roster Nearly 58 Years"

     Mrs. Rika Wilson, 73, who was struck by an automobile at Centerville October 26, while going home from church, died Wednesday. Funeral services were held at the Centerville cemetery Saturday. She is survived by several children who live in various parts of the northwest. Mrs. Wilson was one of the pioneers in the Centerville district, coming here from Finland when a child.
