BARBARA J. STEVENS

     Former Ferndale resident Barbara J. Stevens, 61, died Saturday at an Elma convalescent home.
     She was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Odell, Ore., to Elmer and Sadie Creson.
     She married Raymond F. Stevens on Aug. 5, 1949, in Stevenson and lived in Ferndale from 1966 to 1977, when she moved to Olympia. She had been a homemaker.
     Survivors include a son, Dennis Stevens of Seattle; a daughter, Kathyrn Young of Tumwater; sisters Eleanor Weber of Hood River, Ore., and Mary Bowermand of Longview; and five grandchildren.
     Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. today at the Trout Lake Cemetery in Trout Lake.
     Arrangements are under the direction of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Lacey.
