HATHAWAY
Barbara Lee (Baugher) Hathaway, 60, passed away July
11, 1992 at her home in Goldendale after a brief illness.
Barbara was born in Parker on March 24, 1932,
to Clarence and Sadie (Darnell) Baugher. She moved with her family to Zillah
at the age of 10. She graduated from Zillah High School. On July 8, 1950,
she was married to Maurice Keith Hathaway in Glenwood. They moved from Glenwood
to Connell, Wash. in 1958. There, they raised their three sons. Barbara worked
for Lamb/Weston for many years before retiring in 1989 and moving to Goldendale.
She attended the Connell Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School
and received an award of appreciation for her 25 years of teaching. Her greatest
joy was her family. A loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Hathaway is survived by her husband Maurice Hathaway
of Goldendale, three sons, Kevin of Seattle, Keith of Baltimore, Md., and
Kelly of Goldendale, one granddaughter, Keisha of Pasco, and one grandson,
Kelly Jr. of Goldendale. She also had several self-adopted grandchildren.
She is also survived by her mother, Sadie Baugher of
Zillah, Wash., two brothers, Kenneth Baugher of Portland and Marion Baugher
of Selah, three sisters, Dorothy Gooderl and Marie VanCorbach of Yakima and
Carol Benner of Spokane. She was preceded in death by her father Clarence
Baugher in 1975.
Services will be Wednesday, July 15, 1992, at 3:00 p.m.
at the Community Grace Brethern Church, 1180 S. Roosevelt St., Goldendale.
Interment will follow at the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood. Knosher-Erdman
Funeral Home of Goldendale is in charge of services.
