“Lyle”

     Mr. and Mrs. Jas. S. Brennen’s children are sick with diphtheria.  The second one is not expected to live.  Dr. Robinson, of Marion, Oregon, is tending the case.  He came over last evening and not having the right medicine, he and Walter Greene rode to the Dalles and back last night, leaving Pine Hill at 9 o'clock p.m. and returning at 5 a.m.

"Lyle"

     Died on March 29th, of diphtheria, Beatrice May Brennen, age 9 years. The parents have the sympathy of the neighbors. The remains will be interred in Pine Tree or Lyle cemetery, as soon as things can be arranged.
