BESSIE CARR
Bessie M. Carr, a former White Salmon resident, died
Monday in The Dalles at the age of 85.
She was born July 27, 1896, in Omaha, Neb., to Mr. and
Mrs. Vagle. She moved to Hood River four years ago from the White Salmon-Husum
area. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Carr is survived by her son Horace C. Day, Hood
River; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one niece.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carr will be held Friday at
2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home with the Order of Eastern Star officiating.
Interment will be at Pioneer Crematorium followed by burial in the White
Salmon cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dalles. She was a homemaker and member of Order of Eastern Star.
She was born July 27, 1896, in Omaha, Neb., to Mr. and
Mrs. Vagle. She moved to Hood River four years ago after living in White
Salmon and Husum, Wash.
Survivors include: her son Horace C. Day of Hood River;
five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m., at Gardner
Funeral Home in White Salmon. After cremation, burial will be held in White
Salmon.
The family suggests that those who wish to donate in
her memeory give to the American Cancer Society.
