MRS. TOBIN DIES

     Mrs. Thomas Tobin passed away here Wednesday after a serious illness. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at the Catholic church with Rev. John Hartnett officiating. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery.

BESSIE M. TOBIN

     Bessie M. Tobin, the eldest daughter of Joseph O. and Lydia M. Young, was born near Goldendale December 21, 1885. She passed away Nov. 8, 1944 after a lingering illness, being 58 years, 10 months and 8 days of age. She spent her life in Klickitat county.
     On March 5, 1905, she became the wife of Thomas E. Tobin. To this union, five children were born, all of whom survive: Mrs. Amy D. Hayes, Wishram; Clara H. Maurer, Goldendale; William Leonard Tobin, Mabton; Mrs. Betha M. Rayburn, Wishram and Clarence J. Tobin, Goldendale.
     One brother, William J. Young, of Goldendale; two sisters, Mrs. Della M. Robinson, Longview and Nellie L. Sarsfield, Spokane also survive here, as well as ten grandchildren. One brother, John M. Young, preceded her in death in 1938.
     In 1912 she joined the Catholic church, whose faith she held to the end.
