     The funeral of Mrs. Hoctor, who died at The Dalles last Sunday evening, took place from the Catholic church in this city this morning.

     Mrs. Hoctor Dies -- Mrs. Bridget Hoctor died yesterday at the family residence, 1006 Bluff street. The deceased was 61 years of age and was a native of Ireland. The remains were sent to Goldendale for burial.

     Funeral At Goldendale. -- The remains of Mrs. M.C. Hoctor were taken to Goldendale this morning for burial. The deceased was born in Tipperary county, Ireland, 61 years ago. She is survived by four sons, three daughters and a husband.

     Mrs. M.M. Hoctor died at her home in The Dalles Monday last. The body was buried at the Catholic cemetery near Goldendale. Mrs. Hoctor formerly lived in Klickitat and was the mother of mike Hoctor and Mrs. R.W. Tate of the No. 6 country. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her. An obituary notice of her life will follow in our issue.

MRS. BRIDGET HOCTOR

     Mrs. Bridget Hoctor, wife of Michael C. Hoctor, who died at 1006 Bluff street, in The Dalles last week Sunday, was buried in the Catholic Cemetery west of Goldendale Thursday morning. The funeral was probably the largest that has been held here for a long time, as the deceased had many friends and relatives in this city, having resided in Goldendale and vicinity for the past thirty-two years.
     Deceased was a native of Ireland, was born in 1849 and came to America with her parents when but a girl. She came to this city 32 years ago with her husband and family, where they have resided since until about five years ago, when the family moved to The Dalles. Mrs. Hoctor had been an invalid for the past two years although her death was due to pneumonia and la grippe.
     The deceased is survived by her husband and seven children. Michael Hoctor residing at Goldendale, Mrs. Tobin of North Yakima, Mrs. R.L. Tate of Goldendale, Mrs. Elmer Watson of The Dalles, Frank Hoctor of Arizona, Joe Hoctor living near Spokane and Daniel Hoctor of Walla Walla.

     Mrs. Bridget Hoctor, wife of Michael C. Hoctor residing at 1006 Bluff street, The Dalles, passed away Sunday evening of last week her death being due to grip with pneumonia complications. Mrs. Hoctor was a native of Ireland, born in 1849 and coming with her parents to America early in life. Thirty-two years ago she came with her husband and family from San Francisco to Goldendale and three children were buried there. For twenty-five years they resided there then removed to The Dalles in 1904. Mrs. Hoctor has been something of an invalid for the past two years an in her weakened state the grip with pneumonia complications set in and she died Sunday evening. The deceased is survived by her husband and seven children. Michael Hoctor residing at Goldendale, Mrs. Tobin of North Yakima, Mrs. R.L. Tate of Goldendale, Mrs. Elmer Watson of The Dalles, Frank Hoctor of Arizona, Joe Hoctor living near Spokane and Daniel Hoctor of Walla Walla. Interment was at the Catholic cemetery near Goldendale, the remains having been shipped there. The children were all present at the funeral services held in this city.
