CASSELLA CAMPBELL

     Cassella Campbell (Cassell), 97, of Goldendale, died Aug. 27, 2000.
     She was born Feb.12, 1903 in Ramson, Kans. to David and Cora McKune. The family moved to Goldendale in 1918. Cassell married Charles H. Campbell on Feb.17, 1927. They lived and worked their Spring Creek farm until selling it in 1959 and moving into town.
     Cassell lived in Goldendale for 82 years, where she retired from the United Telephone Company.
     She was a member of the Goldendale Church of Christ.
     Her husband, Charles "Chub" in 1979; brothers, Eldon, Bill, Chet and Dale; and sisters, Vee, Zella and Eveline, preceded her in death.
     Survivors incude one sister, Erma Russell of Marysville; son Terry Campbell and wife Peggy, of Goldendale; daughter, Debbie Saunders and husband Sam, of Union Gap; grandchildren, Angela Tatum and husband, Chris of Portland, Nolan Elliott and wife Marcie of Yakima, Sansiarae of Union Gap, Ed Heath and Jai Campbell, both of Goldendale; two great-grandchildren, Breann and Cade Elliott of Yakima.
     Services were held Aug.30 at Erdman Funeral Home with interment at Spring Creek Cemetery.
