LEBANON MAN DIES IN S.H. SATURDAY

     LEBANON -- Charles A. Cooke, 89, Rt. 3, died in the Langmack hospital Sunday, apparently of a short illness.
     He was born at Mondovia, Wis., on March 19, 1876 and came to Oregon in 1942 from Washington and had lived in this area ever since.
     Survivors are four sons, Merle, Carson, Wash.; Clyde, Bonneville, Wash., and Floyd and Guy, both of Lebanon, four daughters, Mrs. Alice Christy, Marcola; Mrs. Maude Rowe, Sweet Home; Mrs. Evelyn Forde, Everett, Wash. and Mrs. Charline Snell, Orlando, Calif., and five grandchildren.
     Services are planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Jost Funeral Home with burial at 2:30 p.m. in Lyle, Wash.
