SERVICES HELD FOR CHRIST ELMER OF TROUT LAKE
Christ Albert Elmer, Trout Lake, died at the family home
on December 2.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 7 at
1 p.m. with Pastor Preston Smith officiating. He is survived by his wife
Irene, two children; Mrs. Andre (Eleanor Louise) Lamoreaux; also a son Orville
Eugene Elmer, Trout Lake. Also surviving is his mother Mrs. Grace Knight,
Willamina, Oregon, and his father Albert C. Elmer, Trout Lake; 4 brothers,
Eugene, Amboy, Wash.; Ivan, Trout Lake; Clyde, Milton-Freewater; and Leonard
of Coos Bay. Interment was in the Trout Lake Cemetery.

TROUT LAKE DAIRYMAN DIES
Funeral services for Christ Albert Elmer, 49, Trout Lake
dairyman, were held Dec. 7 at Gardner's Chapel, White Salmon. Preston Smith,
pastor of the White Salmon Seventh-day Adventist church officiated. Burial
was in the Trout Lake Grange cemetery.
Mr. Elmer was born Aug. 28, 1911 at Trout Lake where
he has lived for 40 years. He died of cancer Friday, Dec. 2 at his home.
He is survived by his widow, Irene; son Orville E. Elmer;
and father Albert Elmer all of Trout Lake.
Also a daughter Mrs. Andre Lamoreaux of White Salmon;
mother Mrs. Grace Knight of Willamina, Oregon; five grandchildren; four brothers,
Eugene of Amboy, Ivan of Trout Lake, Clyde of Milton-Freewater, Oregon and
Leonard of Coos Bay.
