     Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Byrkett and daughter Bee left last Sunday for Rufus, Or., on account of the serious illness of Mr. Byrkett's cousin Mrs. Clara Greenleaf, nee Tellis. Mrs. Greenleaf is suffering with cancer with no hope of recovery. She was well known by the settlers, having made her home for years with Harvey Byrkett, deceased.
