KNOPP
Clemence Knopp, 79, of Klickitat, passed away on Tues.,
Jan. 14 in Goldendale.
He was born Sept. 28, 1912 at Sentinel Butte, N. Dak.
to John and Victoria Knopp. He attended schools at Sentinel Butte and moved
to Klickitat in 1936. He worked in the lumber industry, retiring from the
mill as a tallyman.
He is survived by five sisters, Margaret Walker of The
Dalles, Helen Kouba of Beach, N. Dak., Marie Kautz of Billings, Mo., Alice
Upmrise of Springhill, La. and Lorraine Fakler of Woodland. One brother,
Richard Knopp of Beach, N. Dak., and several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Ed Knopp and one sister
Irma Harrod.
Knopp was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in
Goldendale and enjoyed reading.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Sat., Jan.
18 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Goldendale with Father
Thomas V. Lane celebrant.
Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery under the care
of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home.
