Mr. Burke passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Cress, Thursday morning. The funeral was held Friday afternoon and the body was laid to rest in the Mt. Adams cemetery. Rev. Geo. Good, of Trout Lake, conducted the ceremony. The Community extend their sympathy to the bereaved families.

The death of Chas. E. Burke occurred on Wednesday night, Nov. 6, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Douglass Cress in Glenwood. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Geo. Good of Trout Lake, at the cemetery. Mr. Burke was born Jan. 4, 1858 in Chicago, being 71 years, 10 months and 2 days of age. His daughters Mrs. Florence Bennett and Mrs. Frankie Cress were with him during his late illness. He is also survived by three grandchildren. Mr. Burke has lived in Glenwood the past twenty years and made many friends who will miss him. The many friends extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
