DEATH COMES TO CONNIE D. JACKEL; BURIAL WEDNESDAY
Funeral rites for Connie Jackel, 53, of Centerville,
were conducted Wednesday, May 5 at 2 p.m. at the Phillips Funeral Home with
the Rev. J.A. Dunn officiating. Interment followed in the Centerville Grange
Cemetery. Jackel died at his home Sunday morning.
Mr. Jackel was born and raised at Centerville, and operated
a ranch in that area.
He is survived by his wife Gladys of Centerville; a son
of Robert of California; a brother August of Goldendale; and three sisters,
Mrs. Lillian Garner and Mrs. Nettie Potter, Portland, and Mrs. Arvilla Hafner,
Camas. His obituary will be published in detail next week.
