KATE E. LANE SERVICES TO BE FRIDAY, JUNE 15
Catherine Estella Lane, 93, was born near Laurel in Klickitat
County to Lucinda and Noah Chapman, passed away on June 11th in Goldendale,
Wa., where she had lived in a nursing home for the past ten years.
She lived in Klickitat for many years and also resided
in Bingen. She was a long time member of the Methodist Church in White Salmon.
Mrs. Lane is survived by: one son, Clarence Rankin of
Central Point, Ore.; three grand sons, Bruce Linkous of Fair Oaks, Ca., Thomas
Rankin of Crescent City, Ca., and Gerald Rankin of Milwaukee, Ore.; one
granddaughter, Judy Atkinson also of Milwaukee; several nieces and nephews
and 12 great grand-children.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon, June
15th, at 1 o'clock at Gardner's Chapel in White Salmon. Rev. Donald Kaelin
of the United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the White
Salmon Cemetery.
