CLARA F. BARVERSTOCK
Clara F. Barverstock was born at Washington, D.C., in
the year 1860, and moved to Klickitat with her parents in 1877, at the age
of sixteen years. Both her father and mother passed to the Great Beyond several
years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss four brothers, Walter and Richard,
Goldendale; Charley, Pasadena, Calif., and Henry, of Yakima.
She passed away early Saturday morning, having been sick
for a long time. She was a dear sister and friend, and will be greatly missed
by those who knew and loved her.
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is still.
A place is vacant in our hearts
Which never can be filled.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 30th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapman Chapel, Rev. R.C. Young officiating, interment taking place in the Spring Creek Cemetery.
